SAY CHEESE
Yesterday we had our photoshoot with Alex Petricca in a studio in Speke. What a great experience! Alex took photographs of us as a family in a variety of different poses from the diamond shaped bohemian rhapsody look as favoured by Queen to playing twister as favoured by the Queen. Possibly. He also took shots of my parents together, and of my brother and I, as well as some other groups shots. Plus we all had individual photos taken to warm us up, and perhaps inject a little bit of glamour into our facebook profiles.

All in all it was a great day and I think my mum really enjoyed the experience, since after all the photoshoot was her 50th birthday present from my brother and I.

With regards the weather in Huddersfield , it is snowing!

It is also my cousin's 18th birthday - Happy Birthday Lisa.

SHOPPING IN LIVERPOOL
To prepare for my mum's 50th birthday party on Saturday, and the photo shoot with Alex Petricca, I went shopping in the MetQuarter in Liverpool today. I got a great new pair of jeans and a thin leather belt from Energie in their 70% off sale. I also got a stripy grey shirt in Levi's with £12 off. Bargain.

Also got a half price silk tie and plenty of balloons and what not for my my mum's party. I've even made some paper weights out of black paper, two pence coins and photographs to keep the helium balloons I've ordered in place.

THIS BLOG IS FOUR YEARS OLD!
It is four years since I started this blog. It may have moved about from one host to another and its design may have changed more times than I care to mention, but one thing has stayed constant - The infamous lemon birthday photo.
